As part of the community environment found at RiverEdge Summit, a shared bocce ball court hosts ongoing matches of this relaxing yet challenging and competitive game. Whether it’s a friendly round between coworkers taking a break between projects or the latest round in an organized tournament sponsored by the building for tenants or commercial real estate brokerage firms, the RiverEdge Summit bocce court is a unique feature that, like the sport itself, is growing in popularity.

 

Tenant Tournament: Held every summer since 2007, the RiverEdge Summit tenant bocce tournament is a popular event. With 10 to 12 teams of four players each, games are scheduled in the morning in order to beat the heat and typically last about an hour. The tournament wraps up in September with a championship match held during a building-wide barbeque party for all tenants. Each winning player receives a $250 American Express gift card along with a plaque for their office, a photo for the “Wall of Fame” in the cafe and of course year-long bragging rights. The winners will also receive a prime reserved parking space until the next tournament. Second-place winners each receive a $125 American Express gift card.
